We are looking for enthusiastic all-rounders to work within our Production Team making, assembling and packaging mushroom grow kits. You will be working within a team on an assembly line shaking, boxing and palletising mushroom kits. This role requires someone available to start January 6, 2025 and work for 38 hours per week until the end of February.

The Important Bits

This role is based at our warehouse on the northside of Brisbane. Shifts will be between 7am - 5pm Monday - Friday.

Rate of pay is $29.33 per hour.

The role is casual up to 38 hours per week. Must be available Mon-Fri between 06/01/25 - mid March 2025.

We are a small team who enjoy a good yarn around the lunch table, cups of tea and bikkies. We are hardworking but fun-loving.

We are looking for an enthusiastic all-rounder to work within our Production Team, working with mushroom cultivation machinery as well as in a laboratory environment inoculating mushroom substrate blocks. This role requires someone available for an immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate light industrial machinery (mixers, baggers, conveyors)
• Safely load, operate and unload the steriliser (autoclave) according to strict protocol
• Daily routine procedures following laboratory schedules and manuals
• Record keeping, data entry, and maintenance of spreadsheets for quality assurance

About you

Previous experience is not required as training will be provided. To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate that you have the following skills and attributes:

• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to your work, you are self-motivated
• Meticulous attention to detail and enjoys cleaning
• Strong hand-eye coordination
• Reliable and punctual
• Can work independently and as part of a cohesive team that likes to get the job done
• Can follow documented procedures and execute them consistently
• Physically capable and willing to work with heavy bulk materials

Highly regarded

The following attributes would be advantageous:

• Knowledge of basic fungal biology
• Knowledge of cleanroom procedures including appropriate use of PPE and aseptic technique
• Experience working in a laboratory or cleanroom environment
• Experience working in a related industry such as brewing, food manufacturing, substrate production

The Important Bits

This role is based at our warehouse on the northside of Brisbane. Shifts will be between 7am - 4pm Monday - Friday.

Starting rate is $29.33 per hour with a pay increase after 3 months in the role.

The role is casual between 2-3 days per week ongoing but during peak periods it can be 5 days per week.

We are a small team who enjoy a good yarn around the lunch table, cups of tea and bikkies. We are hardworking but fun-loving.
