This website is operated by Little Acre Gourmet Mushrooms. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Little Acre Gourmet Mushrooms. Little Acre Gourmet Mushrooms offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.

Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.



Subject to any law to the contrary, we do not guarantee that Products will appear exactly as they do in any photograph on any website, brochure or social media post published by us or on our behalf.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any content on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.


For retail customers all products must be paid for in full prior to shipping. 

For customers with wholesale accounts you may apply for credit with our store once you have made three prepaid orders. Little Acre Gourmet Mushrooms will assign payment terms and credit limits on application. If you default on the terms of your account, for example late payment, your account will reset to prepaid terms.

Customers are responsible for all shipping, handling, inspection, duty and tariff charges. 



Little Acre Gourmet Mushrooms does not accept any responsibility for delivery times once goods have been dispatched from our warehouse. 

You are liable for the goods once they are delivered to you or they are left at your address.

Any Products ordered shall be deemed to have been duly delivered to you upon them being left at the address stated in the order details or at such other address nominated in your order, regardless of: 

(a) whether or not such place is attended at the time of such delivery; and 

(b) whether or not delivery is acknowledged or otherwise accepted by you or on your behalf at the relevant time.

Please ensure you are available to receive your mushroom spawn order as spawn left outside may become heat stressed.



Little Acre Gourmet Mushrooms guarantees the viability of our products upon receiving under the condition that the customer has adhered to the instructions and advice outlined in these Terms and any instructions provided with the Product. 

We will provide store credit or a refund under the following circumstances:

  • We receive a written explanation of any problem you may be facing to our email address, hello@littleacre.com.au with photos included for reference
  • We deem Little Acre Gourmet Mushrooms to be at fault

Heat stress

Mushroom products are heat sensitive. In warm weather we recommend choosing Express shipping options for any live mushroom products including Mushroom Kits and Mushroom Spawn. 

While we will do everything possible to ensure the viability of Mushroom Spawn ordered through our website we will not accept any responsibility for overheated spawn if you do not choose an Express shipping option.

Please see our advice under the Mushroom spawn transportation and temperature conditions section of these Terms. 


In some rare cases, products may be out of stock. We will always endeavour to provide you with a suitable substitute or refund you for the value of any item out of stock after you place your order. 

It’s always best to order ahead of time or contact us when ordering large quantities to ensure product availability. Production lead times for Mushroom Spawn can be a minimum of 3 weeks if certain lines are out of stock.


Although we will endeavour to ensure that all Products supplied by us satisfy your requirements, no Liability is accepted by us, and to the fullest extent permitted by law all Liability is excluded, for any Loss arising from:(i) any failure or delay in performance of any of our Obligations to you, under these Terms or otherwise, arising from any cause beyond its reasonable control;(ii) any failure by us to deliver Products which are (a) without defect, (b) correct in quantity, or (c) consistent with any sample or description by reference to which they were supplied;(iii) any personal injury or death to any consumer of any Products.

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.



Mycelium cultures, spawn and other mycelium products are living organisms. They will be treated similarly to plant seeds by customs officials and Agricultural Departments. It is your responsibility to be informed about any possible import restrictions or biosecurity restrictions when ordering mycelium products from Little Acre Gourmet Mushrooms. 

Depending on your jurisdiction, supporting documents may be required along with your import or purchase. If you require any documentation please contact us prior to placing your order.

The customer is responsible for any inspection, destruction or biosecurity charges incurred during importation.
