Grow your very own gourmet mushrooms at home with Little Acre's Lion’s Mane Mushroom Grow Kit! It’s easy! It’s fun!
Everything you’ll need is in the box, including:
- a step-by-step instruction card
- a spray bottle to mist your kit
- a pull-out recipe card to prepare a delish mushroom dish
- the ready-to-grow mushroom block (inoculated with Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus))
Pop it on your kitchen bench and watch these tasty mushroom morsels appear right before your very eyes!
GROWING CONDITIONS
For best results, start your grow kit right away!
Time til harvest: 14 - 21 days - patience is a virtue 🙏
Fruiting temperature: 10°C to 24°C
This roar-some variety likes to chill out in cooler climates. They do not like it breezy so please keep the lil fusspots out of draughts.
Harvests: Your first flush (flush = fancy fungi word for harvest) will likely be one big Lion’s Mane mushroom - enough to cook a meal for 2-3 people. If you treat your kit right, you could enjoy a smaller second, third and maaaybe a fourth (if you are super lucky!).
Storage: If you need to store your mushroom kit pop it in the fridge. This will put it to sleep until you're ready to grow it or gift it!

Dispatch
We ship orders Monday to Thursday. We do not ship Fridays to avoid extending delivery times. Please note this applies to all orders, including our express post shipments.
Click & Collect orders
Pick up your order from the Little Acre warehouse in Geebung, on Brisbane’s northside. Pick up is free - simply select ‘Pick up’ at checkout.
Pick up is available Monday to Friday, between 8:00am - 3:30pm.
Tracking information
Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive an email with your tracking link so you can stay up to date with where your order is at.
Delivery times
Delivery times are tricky to provide these days. You’ll be able to check your unique delivery estimate provided by Australia Post via the tracking link in your email with the subject “Your order has been shipped!”.
